1 Arrival & Transfer
After
you arrive at Kanombe International Airport, you will be met by our
representative, transferred to your Hotel, and briefed on your stay in Rwanda.

2 Big game viewing
Before
breakfast, have an early morning game drive in this park famous for its herds of
game animals including Butchell's
Zebra,
lions, elephants, topi etc and over 425 species of birds including the shoe
billed stock, African jacana, sacred ibis goliath heron
etc. In the afternoon, drive to Kigali arriving in time for dinner and
overnight at Kigali Intercontinental BB
Day 3 Nyanza/Butare Cultural fare/Murambi/Nyungwe
This
day is dedicated for sampling of Rwanda�s cultural fares and getting into
grips with the history arriving in
Nyungwe
in the evening. After an early
morning breakfast, the drive stops at Nyanza for a tour of the Rwanda�s
tradtional King�s(Mwami�s) palace. This
complex houses the morden palace and ruins of the ancient palaces.
A traditional story teller is available to narrate for you
the prowess of the pre-colonial Kingdom. After
the palace tour, drive to Butare for a tour of the National Museum. Have
lunch and proceed to Gikongoro for a tour of the genocide
memorial
of Murambi. Arrive in Nyungwe in
time for dinner and overningt at ORTPN Guest House BB

4 Colobus
tracking safari Nyungwe forest.
Have
an early breakfast and drive to Nyungwe forest.
Take trail of your choice. Trail
in search of the primates
(Nyungwe
colobus) and other species the park is famous for.
Have a picnic lunch and proceed to ORTPN Guest House for
dinner and overnight BB

6 Chimpanzee tracking
safari (Nyungwe forest)
Before
breakfast, enter Nyungwe forest in search of Chimpanzee and return to your lodge
for lunch. The rest of the day is
spent at leisure. Dinner and

After
breakfast, drive to Cyangugu and boat/drive ride to Kibuye. On arrival visit the
memorial church. Spend the rest of the day in Kibuye.

After
breakfast drive to Gisenyi. Spend
the day relaxing at the beaches or
on optional activities ( for example boatrides to the Islands or Goma, a
drive tour to Goma can be organised).

8 Gorilla
tracking safari Volcanoes NP
An
early morning drive to Ruhengeri for an encounter with the gorillas.
On the way you will be able to see the
pyrethrum
plantations. On arrival at
Ruhengeri, pick the guides and proceed to �parc national de volcans,� home
to the rare mountain gorillas. Hike up to the bamboo forest to spend a magical
hour in the company of the gorillas and return
to
your lodge for lunch. Overnight

Gorilla tracking safari Volcanoes NP
After
breakfast, visit another group of the gorillas. Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon drive to Kigali arriving
in
time for dinner and overnight at Kigali Intercontinental BB

10 City tour
After
breakfast have a city tour. Visit
the city and curio markets, have lunch at Chez Robert.
In the afternoon
transfer
to the airport for home flight. |
