Days Samburu Lake Nakuru Masai Mara safari
Day 1: Nairobi –
Samburu
Depart Nairobi at 0730hrs and drive to Samburu. The 300Km journey
follow the Naro Moru, Nanyuki Isiolo road . On a clear day, Mt
Kenya is visible from every angle. Dinner
and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge/ Serena FB
Day2/3: Samburu
Game reserve
Full day tour of
Samburu National Park with optional visits to Samburu Bomas
(Homesteads). Have an early morning game drive and return to the
lodge for breakfast. After breakfast pick your picnic boxes and
drive into the park for the rest of the day. Return to the lodge
for diner. Overnight Samburu Simba/Serena Lodge FB

The livelihood
of Samburu Game Park is the Ewaso Ngiro River. Together with
Buffalo Springs and Shaba, Samburu is home to some unique species
found to the north of equator like the Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich,
Beisa Oryx, Reticulated giraffe and the Grevy’s zebra. Other
animals you are likely to see are lions, cheetah, leopard,
elephants, buffalo, hippos, Nile crocodiles, warthogs, Grant's
gazelle, Kirk's dik-dik, impala, waterbuck. The park is reach in
birdlife with over350 species identified. Common species include,
Somali ostrich, grey-headed kingfisher, sunbirds, bee-eaters,
marabou stork, tawny eagle, bateleur, vulturine guinea fowl, yellow
throated spur-fowl, lilac-breasted roller, palm nut vulture,
red-billed hornbill, secretary bird, Verreaux's eagle, superb
starling, yellow-billed hornbill and vultures.
Day4 : Samburu-Lake
Nakuru
Breakfast and
drive to Lake Nakuru National park arriving in for lunch. Lunch
and proceed for an afternoon game drive. Return to your lodge for
dinner. Overnight Lake Nakuru Lodge, Lion Hill Lodge or Flamingo
Hills camp.
Lake Nakuru
is an international wetland famed for its flamingos. This bird
sanctuary with over 400 species identified is one of the most
visited parks in Kenya. It has Rhino Sanctuary and the largest
Euphorbia candlebrum forest. Mammals found in the park include
waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, Rothschild Giraffe, Black and White
Rhinos. are found here
Day5: Lake
Nakuru – Masai Mara
Early morning game drive and return to lodge for breakfast. After
breakfast drive to to Masai Mara arriving in time for Lunch,
followed by afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara
Serena/ Mara Sopa Lodges

Mara National Reserve
Full days spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5.
